Laura Hammel is an educator, communications professional, lifelong Clevelander, and co-founder of LUCK. With a PhD in Urban Education and a family connection to horses, Laura helped create LUCK around a simple belief: the confidence, relationships, and opportunities horses can inspire shouldn’t be limited to people who can afford or easily access the equestrian world. Her work in education, communications, and community advocacy continues to shape LUCK’s commitment to creating experiences that build trust, belonging, purpose, and new possibilities.
